Travelling and seeing friends

Christmas Cheer

Merry Christmas 2006 from Derry, Northern Ireland

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Alas! There is no snow.. just yet, but see our Christmas photos.

Francis & Helen

Perkins-Outred Wedding, Verbier Switzerland

Helen & Francis, congratulations firstly. What a fabulous wedding, the ceremony was outstanding not to mention the location, champagne reception, evening recption (Francis's dancing also) and brunch! I'm so happy for you both, a beautiful weekend.

Rich wakeboarding off Pwllheli

Rich's Birthday 2005

Arriving at 1.30am after 288 miles, including my favourite stretch of tarmac in the UK, the A4212 between Bala and A470/A487 (name?) entering into Pwllheli village was serene. The yachts were gently swaying under the light breeze in the motionless marina waters whilst the faint orange glow of street lamps mirrored their way across the surface. See more...

Eze Village Sunset

Cote d'Azur

The first summer holiday, with the first summer weather to grace my skin this year. Fantastique. Landing at Nice Aeroport on a Monday morning at 9am, rather than landing at work and putting my hard disk into my computer to start the week, was such a relief and a release. With the sun radiating down, warming the day to a comfortable 23 degrees Celsius the primary activity for the day was to be..... lounging by the poolside after a nice glass of Chateau Minuty Rose with a light salad for lunch on the balcony.

Five Finger Strand, Malin Head

Easter in Ireland

It's hard to beleive that the photo is taken at Malin Head, North Donegal in March! The tropical sunshine followed Louise and me from South England as it did last time! We had a fabulous four day break from work, it's so refreshing to get away for even a few days to a different country.

Jersey from the West

The Jersey Story

The home of Bergerac and that horrible old car he drove will be the host to the weekend. Louise and I are off to the little Isle of Jersey where the majority of road names are French but yet the local tongue is 'traditional' English. We're visiting a friend for her 30th Birthday, to a Bollywood style party which sounds like a hoot, except I have no costume yet...am I leaving this a little late?

Snowboarding Verbier New Year 04/05

Happy New Year 2005!

What a fantastic start to the New Year!! Snowboarding...sledging...snooker...Switzerland, what can I say!? "I love you" and "see you soon" would have to be some of the first words to spring from my lips. It's such a wonderful country, the trains run on time, the towns and streets are clean, the air is so much fresher or was that just the altitude?
